WORKING ON A FEW COMPOSITE IDEAS I love taking straight photos of children but I also enjoy taking an image and letting my imagination run wild! Little girls and fairies are always popular but sometimes it is good to go completely the other way! I am currently working on lots of new ideas for children portraits, so watch this space.

NEW YEAR AND BRIMMING WITH NEW IDEAS! Well the year has started off very well with enquiries for children portraits, corporate headshots ,weddings and commercial photography - so looks like I might be a bit busy! I also have several personal projects I want to complete this year so getting excited about sorting out shoots for both the studio and on location. The year ended with the fabulous wedding at Clearwell Castle A beautiful bride and a fabulous venue the weather wasn't too kind however but then it was New Years Eve in England!!! However with the castle still dressed for Christmas there were plenty of opportunities for lovely images indoors.
Shooting the chef was a lot of fun too!!! As was the black belt!!! Merry Christmas Everyone!
Well what a fabulous year I have had with photography and I thank all those who allowed me to indulge my passion. There have been family shoots, baby shoots, charity event shoots, Award Ceremony shoots, PR Headshots, commercial new homes shoots, model shoots, portrait shoots and fabulous weddings! And it isn't over yet the last photography session on New Years Eve is going to be the amazing wedding at Clearwell Castle so excited! Looking forward to lots more photography in 2018. Where did the summer go? What with holidays not that I am complaining about those since we have had an amazing time - touring England Wales and Scotland - and in between scouting wedding locations in the Forest of Dean for a wedding on New Years Eve how exciting can't wait! The summer weddings were a joy full of fun, laughter and some tears too. All of them a priviledge to photograph including travelling to Ireland to cover a fantastic Irish wedding - there has been lots of other photography too - some commercial headshots, more new homes and location shoots, and still I just can't get enough of it all!!! A few images from the past few months for you to hopefully enjoy!
Well I have been loving all the photography and got a real kick out of seeing my image up on an advertising hoarding! As well as the new homes photography have had a really busy month with baby photography, model portfolio, family shoot, and wedding shoot and have loved every minute of it, next up more new homes, headshots, pre wedding shoot and another family shoot - loving all the variation
Been so busy have really neglected this blog - what with holidays and short breaks away the photography has been crammed inbetween! There have been events to photograph both commercial and charity events, pre wedding shoots, baby photos and a few personal projects too - and now gearing up for some more weddings and more commercial new home shoots so doesn't look like things are slowing down anytime soon! However I am still as hooked as ever and still can't get enough of this photography lark!
At some point I must put my mind to working towards the next accreditation which requires a theme - so still working on that one! I have plans for some more studio shots and a location shoot with a couple of models so hopefully bring you more images in the next blog. Here are few images from the past few months. I really don't know where the time goes already in May and it seems like we only started the year yesterday! Lots of photography has kept me busy the studio themed shoot went well even if I have changed my mind on the images time and time again, so lots of time spent at the computer! More weddings to quote for a fun family shoot, a new homes photographic session and a fabulous shoot with Olivia in the bluebell woods, orchards and rapeseed fields, we even managed to use the MGA as a prop. I just love the woods carpeted with bluebells but can never do justice with a photograph so putting a model in amongst them seemed the perfect answer.
Have had a lot of fun with camera club trying our hand at levitation photography - easy for the photographer but no so easy for the model!! Now that I have teamed up with the talented make up artist Emma watch out for a competition coming soon for a photoshoot makeover. As usual here are a few images from recent shoots. Well almost Easter where is this year going? We have been very fortunate to have had lovely weather and for me the best time of year is Spring when everything comes alive again. I have not been able to resist the temptation of taking images of the daffodils and new born lambs! In between meetings for weddings later in the year I am busy setting up the studio for a themed shoot this week which I am really excited about and hopefully have some images to post very soon.
All the work is I think now completed on the new website and that is mainly down to all the hard work Sophie has put in, in trying to bring me up to date! But the most exciting bit of news is the collaboration with Emma of Relax House at Salon 62 to offer make over packages. A great idea for a present for that special someone, or for someone who is so hard to buy for or maybe just treat your self! FINALLY REFRESHED THE WEBSITE!!! A huge thank you to Sophie for upgrading my website!!! Together we have worked to try to make it more modern and hopefully user friendly! Even if we are now both in need of therapy - nothing is ever straightforward and after many hours and frustrations it seems it is up and running, be delighted to hear your comments! Well February came and went in a flash and the highlight was the Media Awards event in London which was a first major event for me - well discounting of course the special major wedding events - this was held at Vanilla a great venue with fabulous lighting (even if it was a bit tricky for photographs) and great staff. I loved every minute of it and you can see some of the images in the new corporate gallery. A couple of studio shoots followed with the lovely Livvy, Elli and Gaby some of the images from this shoot have been used in competition results not yet. Now looking forward to more event photography, new homes and weddings looks like a busy time ahead, just hope I have time to fit in my travels!!! Well after a long Christmas break and recovering from sciatica and a virus it is now back to full health and lots of lovely photography. It has been a real treat to get back in the studio and the first session was with lovely sisters Lauren, Saskia and we had lots of fun with lots of lovely images some of which will definitely be used in competition during the year. Then it was a session with Olivia, Gaby and Elli who I have photographed a few times before but it is always fantastic with lots of costume changes and again plenty of images to use for competition and in composites! Next up is a commercial job in London some event photography which will be challenging but looking forward to it. As always should you want any photography either personal or commercial please don't hesitate to contact me. Now here are a few images from the recent shoots.
